Some of my favorite GOOD EATS that I miss from California:
taco asylum | all the hip rage in OC. they do have a killer menu, though. my favorite taco thus far is probably the octopus with kalamata olives and feta cheese. who woulda thought! obviously some genius did.
avocados | my parents live in a rural neighborhood that used to be a huge avocado grove. there are always avocados lying around everywhere, on the side of the road, branches dipping into our backyard. nothing compares to a raw avocado with a little lemon and salt.
in n out | guilty. so, so guilty. double double cheeseburger with animals fries and a diet coke. emphasis on the diet. mhm.
gypsey den | i can’t pick just one thing i like from gypsey den. i love their chicken tortilla soup and carrot cake just as much as i like the rugs hanging on the wall and the old atticky decor it has.
